Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is an international organization of business, professional and collegiate women with over 87 years of dedicated service to our communities. Over those years, the global plight of humanity has changed drastically. Yet our society is still in need of humanitarian organizations like Zeta to assist in the battle to eradicate environmental, educational, and economic inequalities.

Delta Beta Zeta Chapter, a local graduate chapter chartered in 1957, has been on the frontline of this effort with various outreach programs. Our current national sorority initiative, Z-HOPE (Zeta Helping Other People Excel) has again given our chapter the opportunity to advance the principles we stand for within our community. Delta Beta Zeta Chapter is on the forefront of the battle to eradicate illiteracy, stamp out domestic violence, advance our youths' effort to achieve academic excellence and to promote physical wellness, and economic empowerment.

Our current chapter administration has chosen "Advancing Literacy through Multimedia" as our focus. It is our goal as a chapter to uplift and empower the Queens community through educational forums, enlightening programs, and academic assistance. We will continue to assist the youth of our community to achieve their academic goals through our Soror Hill and Soror DeKine Scholarships.

I invite you to tour our website, learn more about our dynamic sorority, and discover the opportunities provided through our chapter's efforts to help the Queens community excel. I know you will find a reason to support us in these endeavors.

Yours in service,
Wilhelmine Herard-James
President
